“A Bow of Hope”: Celebrating Strength, Resilience, and Community

On October 17, 2025, Lico’s Community Services brought together the residents of Heritage Village Commons for a meaningful afternoon dedicated to awareness, resilience, and hope. The event, titled “A Bow of Hope,” honored Breast Cancer Awareness Month through education, creativity, and heartfelt connection. At Lico’s Community Services, we deeply believe in celebrating the resilience, courage, and inner strength that lives within every woman especially those who have faced or continue to face the challenges of breast cancer. This special afternoon was devoted to sharing knowledge, offering emotional support, and celebrating life and the power of femininity. The heart of the event was our “Art That Blooms” activity. As shown in these beautiful images, participants decorated flower pots with colors and messages of love, hope, and renewal. Each woman then planted a small succulent a living symbol of growth, healing, and perseverance. The activity created a touching atmosphere filled with laughter, creativity, and unity. We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who made this event possible from our dedicated volunteers and coordinators to the residents who joined us with such enthusiasm and love. Your support transformed this day into a true celebration of life, courage, and community.
